Strategic Sectors: Law Firms

When it comes to the relocation needs of law firms, we get it. In fact, Management Alternatives (M/A) specializes in law firm relocations. We understand the critical deadlines and billable time environment. We appreciate the persistent nature of deadlines that case filings and court schedules dictate.

When we move a law firm, we focus on operations, not real estate and facilities infrastructure. Our job is to understand the unique aspects of your practice… then figure out the least disruptive way of taking it apart and putting it back together.

We have moved many major firms. Our founder, Patricia Henriques, is a former administrator for Melrod, Redman & Gartlan, in Washington, D.C. We respect the value of your time and know that practice disruption is not an option. We understand that many practices, especially litigation practices, often must have alternate facilities to assure case progress.

Be A Successful Administrator
We know you have full-time responsibilities and that the firm's relocation cannot claim your full attention and time. To that end, we conduct extensive business operations interviews with key firm members in order to understand your specific concerns related to your law library, litigation support centers and records center. We ask about:
  • How your firm is organized (i.e., practice groups or general practice);
  • How litigation support is handled;
  • Whether alternative facilities will be necessary during the weekend(s) of the move; and
  • Whether you outsource such services as copying, delivery, faxing and mail, and how the move will affect these services.
Our track record speaks to our ability.
