What do we mean by "customized services"?
Here are some examples:
- We utilized our proprietary Asset Tracking Database (ATD) to track the location of furniture, equipment and employee personal effects throughout our multi-phase move of The Brookings Institution. We also developed a custom mover RFP, evaluated the responses and assisted with contract negotiations.
- Once again, we customized our proprietary ATD for Latham & Watkins (a Washington, D.C.-based law firm). In this instance, we provided a bar-coded furniture and equipment inventory that became a long-term facilities management tool.
- Management Alternatives (M/A) coordinated custom simulation testing of airport operations and information systems for the Pittsburgh International Airport, provided reports and recommended modifications based on testing results.
- Additionally, M/A developed a Relocation Data Sheet for the Pentagon (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). We used this tool to collect relevant information from each end user, required for move preparation.
Nearly every M/A project involves a custom occupancy program, client-tailored procurement specifications and a unique communications program. These services (and others) are available as a turnkey project management package or can be combined to complement existing in-house resources in a more traditional consulting format.
